Privacy Policy
Akari: Guardian of Balance — last updated 22 September 2026
This policy explains what data the game Akari: Guardian of Balance ("the game"), published by Olidreamlab ("we"), collects and why. The game has no accounts, no sign-up and no in-app purchases: we do not ask you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and we do not build a profile of you.
The game does include two third-party services — an advertising SDK and an analytics SDK — and those services collect data from your device. What follows describes exactly what they collect, for what purpose, and how you control it.
1. What is collected
| Data | Who collects it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Device and advertising identifiers (including the IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking) | Google AdMob, GameAnalytics | Serving and measuring ads; counting unique devices in analytics |
| Advertising data (which ads were requested, shown, clicked) | Google AdMob, GameAnalytics | Delivering ads and measuring whether they worked |
| Gameplay events: level started and completed, level duration, how many objects and creatures you purified, which enemy damaged you, when your energy ran out | GameAnalytics | Understanding which levels are too hard or too long, so the game can be improved |
| Session, performance and crash data; device model, operating system version, language and country | GameAnalytics | Diagnosing errors and performance problems |
| Your best time per level and your achievements | Apple Game Center | Showing leaderboards and achievements, if you are signed in to Game Center |
The gameplay events above are anonymous and are not linked to your identity. We never receive your name, your email address, your contacts, your photos or your location from the game.
2. Third parties
These services process the data described above under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google Privacy Policy.
- GameAnalytics (analytics) — GameAnalytics Privacy Policy.
- Apple Game Center (leaderboards and achievements, optional) — Apple Privacy Policy.
Data may be transmitted to and stored on servers operated by these companies outside your country. All transmission happens over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
3. Your choices and your rights
- Ad personalisation. The first time you play, the game asks for your advertising consent through Google's consent form (UMP). You can change your answer at any time from the Privacy button in the main menu.
- App tracking (iOS). iOS asks separately whether the game may track you across other apps and websites. If you decline, no advertising identifier is used for tracking and you will simply see less relevant ads. The game plays exactly the same either way. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Advertising ID (Android). You can reset or delete it in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Access, correction, deletion. If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR), the United Kingdom, California (CCPA/CPRA) or another region with equivalent rights, you may ask us to access or delete the data associated with your device. Write to the address below and we will forward the request to the services involved. Deleting the game from your device stops all further collection.
4. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data through the game, contact us and we will have it deleted.
5. Local data
Your progress, your best times and your settings are stored on your own device. They are not uploaded to us. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
